Character Creation:
Somehow, you managed to survive the first 10 years after the Cordyceps Brain Infection (CBI) spread across the entire world. What will your role be in this apocalyptic world?
First, make an OC (or ask an admin if you want to claim a canon character). They can be any creature you want. Pony, griffin, dragon, changeling, or even make up your own species. Just please no one is immune to the disease, and no overpowered characters. Powerful unicorns and magic books are not common in this world, so it’s recommended you don't make a ‘twilight sparkle’ like character. Fire breathing dragons are also rare to find. Some can breathe small amounts but it is all very limited. This is all to prevent making an OC that can dominate easily. Also, you can RP someone who had been bitten, but no creating and OC that is a Runner/Stalker/Clicker/Bloater.
Because this is a crossover, every weapon and vehicle is modified for proper usage by any creature.
Your new OC will be joining one of the classes listed below (Keep in mind, not everything here is canon to ‘The Last of Us’). Since, survivors that are immune to the disease are scarce, no OC is immune to the CDI. This is to keep the forum interesting.
The Military/ FEDRA::
Made up of many former Royal Guards, Wonderbolts, volunteers and other survivors in the QZ that got drafted, the Military is heavily armed and is in charge of protecting the QZs and going out in search of supplies. Lower ranks are armed with small firearms and no armour while veterans are typically armed with heavier armour and heavier weapons. They also have access to armored humvees and trucks used to patrol the walls surrounding each QZ and inside on the streets. They team up with FEDRA in order to keep the infection out of the walls and are required to scan any places suspected of contamination, executing any readings that show the pony is infected. The military are typically seen as aggressive and corrupt, but sometimes, it what they have to do to survive and keep their zones safe. They are under constant pressure as they are losing their grips on many cities in Equestria.
The Fireflies:
A revolutionary militia group that fights the military and wants some sort of government to return to Equestria. They are involved in the search for the mane 6 and the royal princesses. They are also one of the few groups trying to develop a vaccine. Fireflies are constantly in battles with the military, but they are also heavily armed as they buy weapons from smugglers and loot off of dead soldiers. Most of them are armed with kevlar armor and military grade weapons. The Fireflies are a very influential group and are the common cause of rebellions within QZs. There numbers have significantly decreased however, due to constant wars with Hunters and the Military.
Hunters:
Hunters are not a single faction. They are Equestrians that live in Quarantine zones that were abandoned by the military. Hunters may not be heavily armed with weapons, but they do have access to a couple of military grade weapons they had stolen from them. They are lightly armoured, but they have large numbers and are typically well stocked with supplies. They run the city and are barbarians referring to anypony that isn’t apart of their gang as ‘tourists’ and execute them on sight. It is a possibility that they were originally Fireflies but abandoned the group for one reason or another. They will attack the Fireflies as well.
The Raiders:
Equestrians that most likely never have lived in a QZ before and travel around the nation attacking established camps and civilizations to look. Although they have small numbers, they are armed and supplied well due to their successful raids. Raiders are relentless and will often cause well established civilizations and groups to collapse from constant and persistent attacks.
Smugglers:
This is also not a large group. They are typically small teams that work to help smuggle weapons, drugs, anything in and out of QZs. In rare cases, they will travel long distances to deliver whatever they were asked to as long as they are paid. Smugglers are sneaky, and know the geography and landscape of the nation well. Because they travel in smaller groups, they are typically more skilled at surviving outside the walls in the wild.
Don't like anything here? Create your own faction! I encourage you to be creative! The only restriction about making your own group is they cannot be the most powerful and well known group in Equestria. However through the course of this forum, they might become more well known if you are able to recruit enough survivors. They can be good, evil, or neutral. If you want to make a cannibalistic faction, go right ahead.
